The Two Rivers Park, at the confluence of the Similkameen and Tulameen Rivers, is adjacent to the Trans Canada Trail and the Bridge of Dreams. The Town of Princeton and the Vermillion Trails Society have developed the bridge and park and it has become a key access point for visitors and residents to the Similkameen and Tulameen Rivers. The park includes a sandy beach area and picnic tables. The park is adjacent to the Trans Canada trail and a 10 kilometre urban paved and lit section. The Two Rivers Park is the perfect place to stop at while riding the trail and to cool off in the water or to take in the breathtaking scenery.

This is a Benton County park with partnerships that include the Tapteal Greenway. Take a left at the entrance and a right into the first parking lot and one of our kiosks awaits you near the restroom. Stop and learn about the park and the area and then get out and enjoy the surroundings. TGA recently teamed with Purple Sage Riders to begin a new trail that runs near the river. At this time the trail has been opened up to muscle powered access and runs about 2 miles. Plans are in the works for tree plantings and more trail improvements.

There is also a very nice boat launch at the park that serves as a take out for our annual fall float trip. RV hook ups and a camping area are also available as well as showers and full restroom services. This is a popular take off point for horseback rides along the river or up into the hills along the Rattlesnake slope area. As the Tapteal Greenway trail extends north and west of Richland, Horn Rapids Park will serve as a crucial rest stop for those who wish to push on to the Benton city link.

This is a secluded, narrow, rocky beach on the NW corner of the Point with great views of the Georgia Straight. This park covers more than 275 acres with 1.4 miles of saltwater shoreline along Boundary Bay. Forested upland bluffs, beaches, and rich tidelands are just a few unique natural features of this amazing place. Follow the path past the entrance gate. At the split ahead, follow the path straight ahead to views of Lily Point and Boundary Bay from the top of the bluffs. Both trails converge in a half mile near a viewpoint looking south across the Strait of Georgia to the San Juan Islands. A steep, primitive trail descends 200’ to the beach area from this point. Explore cobble beach and mudflats west and north from the point.

How to get Lighthouse Marine Park:
From Bellingham:
Take I-5 north through the border at Peace Arch State Park in Blaine. Drive about 18 miles north on Highway 99 in B.C. Take Highway 17 west to 56th Street. Turn left on 56th Street and follow it to the Point Roberts border crossing.
Once you enter Point Roberts it is only 2.5 miles from the border to the park. Go straight on Tyee Drive, and follow it past the marina. Keep following the same road along the water until you reach Lighthouse Marine Park on your left-hand side.
